Nmachine is a collaborative open source project with a mission to develop essential molecular manufacturing tools to be used for building a resource-based economy* at super high speed. The essential molecular manufacturing tools includes:
- A nanomachine designer
- A nanomachine simulator
- A library of designs of nanomachine parts and products
- Designs of ambient energy receiver parts for powering the nanomachines
- A physical nanofactory that can build usable nano scale and large scale consumer products

* A resource-based economy is an economic system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter or any other system of debt or servitude. It is completely voluntary to participate in the envisioned resource-based economy. Example for illustration: Imagine the ~7 billion people on Earth producing 1 song each. In the monetary economy, each person's access to the available songs is restricted by the number of copies of the person's own song that can be sold. In a resource-based economy, each person would be able to listen to any of the ~7 billion songs while still producing only 1 song.
